MEGACARE AT A GLANCE

MegaCARE Missions (MegaCARE) is the International Humanitarian Organization founded by T.D. Jakes that focuses on partnering with sponsors, different cultures and like-minded organizations to meet life threatening needs by transforming lives and empowering communities worldwide.

What started in South Dallas more than a decade ago has positively impacted regions of Belize, Bulgaria, Haiti, India, Guyana, Kenya, Mexico, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and various parts of the United States.   

MISSION STATEMENT

To influence the next generation by supporting and initiating sustainable community development efforts through education, health care assistance, humanitarian service and empowerment.

CARE INITIATIVES           

MegaCARE service programs align into four care initiatives which are fulfilled through our staff, volunteers and strategic partnerships on local, national and international campaigns.

Education:    MegaCARE provides a wide rang of educational assistance.  The key focus is on basic, vocational and technical education through the provision of basic materials, textbooks and technology centers.

Health Care:  MegaCARE concentrates on helping people most in need, particularly women and children, by providing a strong focus on health care and disease prevention.  This goal is accomplished by providing medicine, medical camps, building health clinics and supplying medical equipment

Humanitarian: MegaCARE’s humanitarian efforts assist communities that are adversely affected by natural disasters and in extreme need of resources for survival.  Efforts include the distribution of food, clothing, personal care items, toys and clean water programs.

Empowerment:  MegaCARE’s focus is to improve living conditions of deprived families by developing, implementing and sustaining employment and business initiatives.  This expands opportunities for families and communities there by reducing the occurrence of poverty.
